Yoga Fundamentals: 5-Week Beginner's Series See All Times

This 5-week series is designed for those who are brand new, fairly new or returning after a long period to a physical Yoga practice. It’s also suitable for anyone wanting to deepen their understanding of the alignment actions within the fundamental Yoga poses to practice more safely and freely. The series also includes a breakdown of the sun salutation sequences, finding more comfort with fundamental breathing exercises and familiarity with chanting. Detailed instruction on the shape of each pose, the English and Sanskrit pose names, modifications to the poses, and knowledgeable use of props is also included along with emphasis on developing better body awareness, understanding healthy postural alignment and practicing safely for your body.

The workshop will be led by Suzanne Even, E-RYT 200, who has been leading group and private Yoga classes and offering workshops since 2012. Suzanne has a B.S. degree in Health and Human Science and is a Certified Health Coach and Reiki practitioner.

Note: a minimum of 5 registered participants is needed prior to the start date in order for the series to take place.
